How We Handle Doctor Names, Registration and OPD Details
A patient-safety policy for doctor profile details, registration checks, schedules and appointment information.
If you have chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding, severe allergic reaction, poisoning, loss of consciousness, suicidal thoughts, pregnancy emergency, or any life-threatening condition, do not rely on this website. Call India emergency services such as 112/108 where available, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact a qualified doctor immediately.

Why Doctor Verification Matters
Many users search by doctor name, specialist, OPD timing or appointment fee. Wrong doctor information can lead to wasted visits, unsafe assumptions or trust problems. medicalcentreindia.org/ does not invent qualifications, registration numbers, specialities or experience claims.
How Users Can Verify a Doctor
- Ask the hospital. Confirm the doctor is currently attached to the centre and available on the day you plan to visit.
- Check registration. For allopathic doctors, use NMC/state medical council resources where available.
- Confirm speciality. Ask whether the doctor handles your condition or if another department is better.
- Confirm appointment type. Ask about walk-in, online booking, token, teleconsultation or emergency consultation.
- Confirm fee and wait time. Fee and availability may change by doctor and time slot.
Doctor Information We Prefer to Publish
- Doctor full name as listed by the hospital or public register.
- Speciality/department, not exaggerated “best doctor” claims.
- Appointment day/time when verified, with confirm-before-visit note.
- Registration number only when sourced from a reliable register or official profile.
- Consultation-fee range only when publicly available or confirmed.
Limits of Doctor Profile Pages
A directory page cannot tell whether a doctor is the right fit for your disease, whether a procedure is needed, or whether a medicine is safe for you. That depends on examination, medical history, test results and clinical judgment.
We do not guarantee “top”, “best”, “No.1” or “100% successful” doctor claims. Such claims are risky unless independently and clearly supported.
AYUSH, Dental and Allied Health Professionals
India has different councils and regulatory structures for allopathic doctors, AYUSH practitioners, dentists, nurses and allied health professionals. The right verification route depends on the profession. A page should not use NMC verification language for non-allopathic practitioners unless applicable.
Doctor details must be useful and careful
Verification helps patients ask the right questions before booking.
